Fill in measurements below

Measure a well-fitting pair of pants, similar to those you are ordering:

1.  Waist:  inches

Lay your pants flat, with the waistband straight.  Measure from one end of the waistband to the other.  If your pants have an elastic waist, extend the waistband from the inside, holding the beginning of the tape on one end while measuring to the other extended side.

2.  Waistband:  inches

Please indicate the width of the waistband (enter "0" if you are ordering pants with no waistband).

3.   Upper Hip Height:

Lay your pants flat and extend the sides.  Measure across Point A from one end of the pants to the other, making sure the tape remains parallel to the waistband.  If the pants have pleats, close the pleats before measuring.  Do not measure from seam to seam.

4.  Lower Hip Height:  inches

Start 8 inches down from the top of the waistband:  Measure 8 inches down from the top of the pants and place a mark or a piece of tape at this level.  This is Reference Point B.

Lay your pants flat and extend the sides.  Measure across Point B from one end of the pants to the other, making sure the tape remains parallel to the waistband.  If the pants have pleats, close the pleats before measuring.  Do not measure from seam to seam.

5.  Front Rise:  inches

From the top of the pants, measure down to the adjoining seams at the crotch area.  This is Point C.

6.  Back Rise:  inches

Turn your pants over and fold them so you have a clear line of the center back seam, as shown.  Place the start of the tape on Point C (adjoining seams in the crotch area), and measure along the center back seam line to the top of the pants.

7.  Thigh:  inches

Lay one leg of the pants flat as shown.  Place the start of the tape at the EDGE of the leg (not the inseam line) as shown and measure across to the other side of the leg.  KEEP THE TAPE PARALLEL TO THE WAISTBAND.  Do not measure from seam to seam.
Hint:  This is a critical measurement for the best fit. Make sure to keep the tape parallel to the waistline when taking this measurement. If you come up with 2 numbers, enter the larger number.

8.  Inseam:  inches

From Point C (adjoining seams in the crotch area), measure down following the Inseam Line to the bottom of the leg.

9.  Knee:  inches

Depending on the size of the pants, the knee is usually about 14 to 15 inches down from Point C (adjoining seams at the crotch area).  Locate the knee of one pant leg and measure across from one end to the other, keeping the tape parallel to the waistband.  Do not measure from seam to seam.

10.   Leg Opening:  inches

Lay the bottom leg flat and measure from one end to the other, as shown.  Leg opening styles (straight leg, bell bottoms, etc.) are determined by this measurement.  If necessary please provide additional comments below, under "description."
